Recent Events

Today we invited the community to join us in celebrating our 10th year of operation. Participants enjoyed the free afternoon of BBQ lunch, prize draws, movie (with choc top ice creams), cup cakes baked by PUBS volunteers, tea and coffee, cold drinks and snacks. Close to 100 people turned up to enjoy the afternoon. We heard speeches from Glamorgan Spring Bay Council Mayor Cheryl Arnol and our new PUBS President Alison Wheaton – thank you.

We would like to thank Mayor Cheryl Arnol from the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council for speaking, Rotary Club of Spring Bay for putting on the BBQ and Triabunna Tivoli Theatre for showing the film! So appreciated.

PUBS sincerely thanks the Orford Bowls Club members for hosting a High Tea for PUBS volunteers! It’s been ten years now since PUBS began, by founders Judy Mollineaux, Richard Wylie and Jayne Pollard, and we appreciate very much the initiative of the Club to arrange this function for us!

The celebratory spirit was high as both groups of volunteers gathered, being met with champagne, friendly and welcoming faces and a beautifully set up room for our afternoon. Sharing some photographs now to help preserve the memories.
